How it works

How OBC mission requests are reviewed.

A mission request is reviewed before acceptance. Availability, routing, customer requirements, shipment suitability, timing, documentation and destination feasibility must be checked first.

Mission details received

Route, pickup, delivery and shipment details are reviewed.

Availability checked

Courier availability, positioning time and operational requirements are assessed.

Routing and feasibility reviewed

Flight options, documentation, timing and destination requirements are checked.

Written confirmation

A mission is only accepted after clear written confirmation.

Execution

Once confirmed, the hand-carry mission is performed and updates are provided as agreed.

Mission updates

Status updates at operational checkpoints.

For accepted missions, status updates can follow the agreed workflow — from pickup and airport progress through boarding, arrival, customs or import steps where relevant, and final delivery/POD.

Pickup status

ETA to pickup, arrival at pickup location and pickup completed.

Airport & export

En route to the airport, airport arrival, check-in and export/customs status where relevant.

Flight updates

Boarding, departure, flight landed and relevant routing updates.

Import & handover

Immigration, shipment retrieval, import status and ETA to final delivery.

Proof of Delivery

Delivery completed, POD or handover confirmation according to the agreed workflow.

Tracking device

If required and agreed in advance, a tracking device or live-location workflow can support shipment visibility.
